Spirit guides are the entities and discarnate spirits who speak through a medium or channeler.
Occult
lore says that every person has a spirit guide attached to him or her. Another
term used, particularly out of the eastern traditions, is “ascended masters.”
The
occult defines the term ascended master as a being that becomes self-realized
to serve humanity; a being that has raised its abilities to sustain a
constant
level of light. It can come and go at will from the earth plane to the spirit
world.
Spirit
guides are not reincarnated beings. The Bible does not support reincarnation.
God
does not talk to his children through any spirit channeled through a medium but
through His Word and His Holy Spirit.
The
Holy Spirit dwells within those who have put their trust in the Lord Jesus
Christ.
“When men tell you to consult
mediums and spiritists, who whisper and mutter, should not a people inquire of
their God? Why consult the dead on behalf of the living?” (Isaiah 8:19).
What
are these so-called spirit guides if they do not come from God?
They
are demons; fallen angels of the Devil who roam around the earth. They seek not
to serve humanity, but to destroy us.
“And there was war in heaven.
Michael and his angels fought against the dragon, and the dragon and his angels
fought back. But he was not strong enough, and they lost their place in heaven.
The great dragon was hurled down -- that ancient serpent called the devil, or
Satan, who leads the whole world astray. He was hurled to the earth, and his
angels with him” (Revelation 12:7-9).

“Be
Thou My Vision”
Mary
E. Byrne
lyrics
1 Be thou my vision, O Lord of my heart;
naught be all else to me, save that thou art -
thou my best thought, by day or by night;
waking or sleeping, thy presence my light.
naught be all else to me, save that thou art -
thou my best thought, by day or by night;
waking or sleeping, thy presence my light.
2 Be thou my wisdom, and
thou my true word;
I ever with thee and thou with me, Lord.
Thou my great Father; thine own may I be,
thou in me dwelling and I one with thee.
I ever with thee and thou with me, Lord.
Thou my great Father; thine own may I be,
thou in me dwelling and I one with thee.
3 Riches I heed not, nor vain, empty praise;
thou mine inheritance, now and always;
thou and thou only first in my heart,
high King of heaven, my treasure thou art.
thou mine inheritance, now and always;
thou and thou only first in my heart,
high King of heaven, my treasure thou art.
4 High King of heaven, my
victory won,
may I reach heaven’s joys, O bright heaven’s sun!
Heart of my own heart, whatever befall,
still be my vision, O Ruler of all.
may I reach heaven’s joys, O bright heaven’s sun!
Heart of my own heart, whatever befall,
still be my vision, O Ruler of all.
