Extremists based in the terror group’s strongholds of Raqqa in Syria and
Tal Afar in Iraq stand accused of forcing young boys to attend terror training
camps, where are they groomed for war.
ISIS have long used child soldiers – known as Caliphate Cubs – both as
frontline combatants and executioners – with a number of young boys having
starred in the group’s sickening murder videos.

Details of ISIS using Yazidi
slave children as jihadi soldiers and suicide bombers were revealed by the
Kurdish news agency Rudaw, who spoke
with a Yazidi member of the Iraqi parliament named Sheikh Shamo.
‘ISIS has established military
training camps for the Yezidi children held by the group in the Syrian city of
Raqqa and Tal Afar in Mosul,’ the MP was quoted as saying.
‘Over the past months, many Yazidi
women, children and elders managed to escape in various ways and have arrived
in the Kurdistan region, but we still believe more than 3,000 Yezidis remain in
the hands of ISIS,’ he added.
ISIS has been shameless in its
use of child soldiers, publishing chilling photographs young boys brandishing
huge assault rifles at terror training camps, as well forcing them to shoot and
behead prisoners on film as part of the terror group’s increasingly sickening
propaganda videos.
Th extremists are known to prey
on children suffering from mental disabilities in particular, forcing them to
carry out suicide bombings on buildings and military positions, rather than
human targets. A
young Yazidi child whose family managed to escape ISIS clutches is photographed
in Iraqi Kurdistan.
In February ISIS released a
slickly-edited propaganda video showing boys as young as five being
indoctrinated at a military-style training camp for ‘cubs’.
In the disturbing PR stunt,
children were seen attending a terror training camp, named the Al Farouq
Institute for Cubs, in Raqqa province.
The nine-minute video, which was
posted online, showed camouflage-clad boys standing in formation and obeying
the commands of a militant teacher.
Although the recruitment of child
soldiers is a war crime, ISIS has long groomed children to take part in jihad –
in a similar way to how Nazi Germany preyed on impressionable youngsters with
the creation of the Hitler Youth.
Pictures posted on ISIS-linked
social media accounts have included babies posing with guns and young children
holding up the heads of beheaded victims.

The terror group has recruited
children under 15 to special camps established specifically to brainwash minors
with their extremist ideology. Children are said to be taught how to use
weapons and even show how to behead using dolls.
‘They teach them how to use
AK-47s,’ an Iraqi security official told NBC News.
‘They use dolls to teach them how
to behead people, then they make them watch a beheading, and sometimes they
force them to carry the heads in order to cast the fear away from their
hearts.’
Since ISIS made Raqqa its de
facto capital, reports have told of many of the area’s citizens fleeing their
homes due to forced conscription.
A father said his life was
threatened when he opposed his 13-year-old son’s attendance at a training camp.
Syria Deeply reported the man
describe the process as ‘brainwashing the children’. When his son returned
home, his mother found a blond, blue-eyed doll as well as a large knife given
to her son by militants.

The news comes as ISIS seized
large parts of a strategically located town in central Syria’s Homs province in
clashes that killed 48 soldiers and militants.
